[ARCHIVED] Columbus Community Center

Columbus Community Center Director Cindy Branting reports meal count is steadily increasing at the Community Center located in the Family Resource Center building.

If you would like to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Pat Hinze, do call the Community Center the day before at 402-563-4444 to make a reservation. The suggested price for meals for citizens over 60 is $3.00. You may park in the newly paved lot on the north side of the building.

Attendees are enjoying playing cards, quilting, learning how to use a computer, and soon the pool table will be moved so citizens can enjoy a game of pool. Every Wednesday is Pie Day and every Friday is Cinnamon Roll Day.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2013 the SHIIP Coordinator will begin appointments at 9 a.m. to assist citizens with their Medicare questions.

A Thanksgiving meal will be held at Noon on Tuesday, November 26. Reservations are required for an appointment with the SHIIP Coordinator and for the Thanksgiving meal.
