[ARCHIVED] Thanksgiving Holiday Closures and Changes

Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Those closed include Animal Control, Columbus Area Transit, and all departments located in City Hall.
The Columbus Public Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th, and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 27th.
The Aquatic Center will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th, will be closed on Thursday, November 26th, and will reopen at 9 a.m., Friday, November 27th for adult-only laps and exercises, and from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for open swim.
Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries and all parks will be open. Quail Run Golf Course will be open, weather permitting. Otherwise, pro-shop hours will be from 10-2 on Thursday and Friday.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be closed Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, November 27th the station will be open to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. The Yard Waste Site will be closed both Thursday and Friday and will re-open Saturday, November 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Street Department, Wastewater, Water Production and Water Utility Service will be on call for any emergency.
The Columbus Fire and Police Departments will be available for all safety service calls.
