[ARCHIVED] City of Columbus offices to observe Independence Day

Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Wednesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Those closed include: Animal Control, Aquatic Center, Columbus Area Transit, all departments located in City Hall, Recycle Center, and Senior Center.

The Columbus Public Library will be closed Wednesday, July 4th, 2012.

The Columbus Transfer Station will be open Wednesday, July 4th to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. The Yard Waste Site will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon.

The Street Department, Wastewater, Water Production and Water Utility Service will be on call for any emergency.

Quail Run and Van Berg Golf Courses will be open. Both Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries and all parks will be open. Pawnee Plunge Water Park will be open, weather permitting.

The Columbus Fire and Police departments will be open 24-7 for all calls.
