Foot Golf Kick-Off Event

The City of Columbus and the Columbus Area Sports and Activities Council will be hosting a “Foot Golf Kick-Off” at Van Berg Golf Course on August 26 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

During the event, people of all ages are invited to try out Foot Golf for $5.00 per round. Participants may use their own #5 soccer ball or rent one at the clubhouse for $3.00. Free food will be available during the event to players. Players under age ...Read on...

Aquatic Center Closed August 20

The Columbus Aquatic Center will be closed on Sunday, August 20, 2017, due to staff involvement with Columbus Days. They will reopen for their normal hours on Monday morning, August 21st.

Closure of 18th Avenue Union Pacific Railroad Crossing

The 18th Avenue Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) crossing will be closed beginning on August 7, 2017. A pedestrian overpass will be constructed and is scheduled to open in summer 2018.
