Animal Disaster Response
Just as has happened in many communities throughout the United States, disasters can strike at anytime. Assisting families in being prepared for disasters when they strike is also a primary goal of the Animal Control Officers. Disasters come in many shapes and sizes and so many times they strike when we least expect them to.

The Animal Control officers are working to educate pet owners so that if a disaster strikes in our community we will be ready. Stop and pick up the following:
  • Disaster Preparedness brochures for both your domestic pet (English or Español) as well as livestock brochures to help families to become prepared for their animals.
  • Disaster Preparedness Activity books are available for children, which provides them a way to learn how they can be prepared.

If you have questions please contact the Animal Control!
