Established in 2006, the Friends of the Columbus Public Library is an incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of persons interested in the Columbus Public Library.
To increase community involvement with the library, act as advocates for the library, provide additional programming, and promote the use of the library and its resources.
The Friends of the Columbus Public Library:
See the Columbus Public Library's Facebook page for current events.
We always welcome new members. If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit the library for a membership form.
Memberships for the current calendar year are currently being accepted. Membership fees and/or other charitable gifts are tax deductible and most appreciated.
Annual Membership Dues (valid through December 31st):
Volunteering isn't necessary to be a Friend, but it is certainly appreciated. You may choose your time commitment. If you are interested in volunteering to help with our twice a year book sale, being a shelf reader, helping out at children's programs, or cleaning CD's and DVD's, please visit the library for a membership form.
Sort and price donated books, prepare the sales room, and clerk at the semi-annual book sales.
