Residents and businesses in the area of 23rd Avenue to 33rd Avenue had their water restored on Saturday night.
City of Columbus Public Works Director Chuck Sliva confirmed on Saturday night that a crew had restored water in the area.
"Residents and businesses in the area of the shutdown may notice some air and discolored water for a short time," Sliva said. "Run and flush cold water and the water will clear up."
A private boring contractor hit a 12-inch water main Saturday afternoon while doing some work in front of CVS Pharmacy, 2307 23rd St.
