Columbus Police are happy to report there was no evidence of a school shooting this morning at Scotus after a concerning call came into the Platte County Joint Communications Center.
Columbus, Nebraska – At approximately 9:10 a.m. Thursday, March 2nd, the Platte County Joint Communications Center received a report of three students shot in the math room at Scotus Central High School, 1554 18th Ave.
According to Columbus Police Department Capt. Doug Molczyk, CPD officers responded. Columbus Police cleared the building and found there was nothing to substantiate the report.
“The Columbus Police would like to thank the administration and the student body of Scotus Central Catholic High School for their cooperation during this situation,” Molczyk said.
