City of Columbus Public Works Director Chuck Sliva said on Wednesday afternoon that crews hope to have service fully restored in the area of the 16th Avenue and 23rd Street intersection after a water main break occurred.
"Loup Power had to remove an overhead streetlight. Water is off from 18th Avenue to 14th Avenue," Sliva said. "So all businesses and residents in that area are out of water due to the size of the main. We have a large area of customers with discolored water. Please run your cold water and it should clear up."
Sliva said crews hope to have service restores by later this afternoon, March 15th.
