On May 13th from 2-3 PM, Jody Lamp will be at the library to present her program, “Stories from Nebraska’s Agricultural History”.
Jody honors Nebraska’s agricultural history with stories of the spaces, places, inventions, commodities, events, and people that made Nebraska one of the top agricultural states in the nation and gave rise to such slogans as “The Beef State” and “The Cornhusker State.” Jody will enlighten and entertain with important and little-known stories, like the history of the Grand Island Horse and Mule Barn Markets. This program is free for all ages. Treats will be served. Funding for this program is provided by Humanities Nebraska.
