[ARCHIVED] Platte County Crimestoppers Week

Columbus Mayor Mike Moser signed a proclamation on May 24, 2013 declaring the week of May 27 thru June 2, 2013 as Platte County Crimestoppers week in Columbus.

Crime Stoppers was established in Columbus for the purpose of monetarily rewarding callers who report crimes, suspected crimes or other information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator. To report a crime call 402-563-4000. All callers remain anonymous and may receive rewards up to $1000. It is a non-profit organization funded solely by donations from citizens and businesses in Platte County.

During the week of May 27 - June 2 Crimestoppers will be hosting 2 fundraising events. They will be serving Root Beer floats at the Cruise Night in the Hy-Vee parking lot on Thursday evening May 30 from 5 to 9 pm and also selling hotdogs and hamburgers at SuperSaver on Saturday and Sunday June 1 and 2.
