[ARCHIVED] Christopher's Cove Bridge Repair

Beginning Monday, July 29, 2013, Christopher's Cove bridge will be under repair until the expected completion date of September 15, 2013.

The work will be done in four phases. The first phase is expected to last two weeks and vehicular traffic will not be permitted during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pedestrians will be permitted to cross for ten minute periods at the set times of 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM.

During the second phase of construction, the bridge will have two full day closures to replace the concrete at the bridge ends, one complete day for each end. The bridge will be closed to all traffic from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and work will be done during the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

During the third and fourth phases of construction the concrete will be replaced on both sides leading up to the bridge. Work will limit traffic to one lane only during the day, and will be done from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
