[ARCHIVED] Street Rehabilitation at the Intersection of 26th Ave. and 8th St.

Beginning Wednesday October 2, 2013 street rehabilitation will begin from 7th Street to 8th Street on 26th Ave, and from 26th Ave, to 2nd Ave. on 8th Street.

During this construction work, traffic will be delayed or detoured around the ongoing repairs. The contractor will begin the repairs along 26th Ave. and maintain traffic on one side of the street. When the 8th Street repairs are proceeding, traffic will be detoured by 7th and 9th Streets and will be closing off the entire length of the 8th Street rehabilitation. The repairs are expected to take approximately two weeks.

All questions and concerns about this project may be directed to the Assistant City Engineer, Michael Middendorf at 402-562-4237.
