[ARCHIVED] STORM DAMAGE TREE DEBRIS

To assist the city in cleanup activities following last week's storm, the city Transfer Station will accept debris from trees by property owners at "no charge" through Saturday afternoon, June 14, until 5:00 p.m.

Contracted tree and yard waste services will be exempt from the 'no charge provision' and will be required to pay normal drop-off fees. All persons dropping off tree debris will be required to weigh at the scale. The Transfer Station is located at 570 South 14th Avenue. Patience and caution will be necessary at the dump site during drop-off.

Department of Public Works - Street Division will remove debris from street trees (trees within city right-of-way). Tree debris not from street trees will not be picked up by the City.
