Remember those stories that grandpa told about how he helped plant the forests in Nebraska, how he laid the roads out, how he put up the telephone lines, and how he built the state parks? Well, maybe not all by himself, but with the other Civilian Conservation Corps Boys (CCC Boys) these stories were indeed true. Come and hear about it on Wednesday, May 18th, at 6:00 pm in the Library Auditorium. Bill Jamerson, dressed in uniform, has songs, pictures, and stories he wants to share with us about the CCC boys and how they became men working to revitalize our state during the Great Depression. No reservations needed and admittance is free of charge.
