[ARCHIVED] Observance of Christmas Holiday
Some City of Columbus departments will be closed at various times in observance of the Christmas holiday.
All departments located in City Hall will be closed on Monday, December 26.
Animal Control will be closed Saturday, December 24, Sunday, December 25 and Monday, December 26.
The Columbus Public Library will be closed Saturday, December 24, Sunday, December 25 and Monday, December 26.
The Columbus Area Transit will be closed Saturday, December 24, Sunday, December 25 and Monday, December 26.
The Aquatic Center will be closed Saturday, December 24, and Sunday, December 25. Monday, December 26 they will have extended open swim hours from 1:00-8:00 p.m. From December 27 thru December 30 will be regular open swim hours: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call the Aquatic Center at 402-563-3222.
Quail Run Golf Course will be open December 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries, and all parks will remain open.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be open for regular business on Saturday, December 24, will be closed Sunday, December 25, open on Monday December 26 for Licensed Garbage Haulers ONLY from 8:00 – 12:00 noon, and will reopen with regular hours on December 27.
The Street, Wastewater, Water Production, and Water Utility Service Divisions will be on call for emergencies.
The Columbus Fire and Police Departments will be available 24-7 for public safety responses.
