She is from the Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and will cover multiple related topics while here at the Columbus Library. These topics include Unfair Hearing/Spelling Test; Hearing Aids, Cochlear Implants & Background Noise; Hearing vs. Understanding; Communication Facts; Communication Tips; Assistive Listening Devices; Veterans with Hearing Loss; and Questions and Comments. If you want to learn more about deafness and the hard of hearing and how to help those that suffer from these conditions this is the program for you.
