We are happy to welcome a traveling music group from the Smithsonian to the library on Saturday, May 20th at 2 pm. Husband and wife team, Bob and Sheila Everhart, have researched songs that were popular in rural America during the nation's wars. They found one in particular that was written in 1773, three years before the Revolutionary War. Come hear them perform these wonderful old-time traditional songs at the Columbus Public Library in the basement art gallery room. Admission is free and no reservations are required. Bring family and friends and have an enjoyable afternoon of music and history.
