The City of Columbus, in partnership with the Columbus Public Library Board and Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District, is undertaking a community outreach effort.
The first step will be asking for citizen input through Community Attitude Surveys. The results will help determine what the priorities will be when proposing improvements for our community. Input will be collected on: basic services and needs in our community, the quality of downtown and residential areas, recreational facilities, housing, future planning priorities and more.
Community surveys can be completed by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Columbus2012survey
Citizens may also pick up a paper copy from the City office at 2424 14th Street, Columbus NE, at the Public Library, or the Senior Center. The Public Library also has a computer lab where you can stop and fill out the survey electronically. Surveys will be taken until June 1, 2012.
