[ARCHIVED] Labor Day Holiday Closures and Changes
Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Monday, September 4, 2017, in observance of Labor Day.
Those closed include Animal Control, Columbus Area Transit, the Yard Waste Site, Columbus Public Library, Columbus Community Center, and all departments located in City Hall.
The Columbus Public Library will be closed both Sunday, September 3rd, and Monday, September 4th.
The Columbus Aquatic Center will be open from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm on Monday, September 4th.
Quail Run and Van Berg Golf Courses, Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries, and all parks will be open.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be open to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon on Monday, September 4th. The Yard Waste Site will be open Saturday and Sunday during their normal hours, but will be closed Monday.
The Street Department, Wastewater, Water Production and Water Utility Service will be on call for emergencies.
The Columbus Fire and Police Departments will respond to all public safety calls for service.
