[ARCHIVED] Traffic Signals at the Intersection of 33rd Avenue and 8th Street

Due to a pole stabilization issue, the southbound traffic signal at the intersection of 33rd Avenue and 8th Street will be removed and replaced with a temporary signal with no left hand turn indicator.

Today, the intersection will at times have stop sign control to allow for removal of the pole and mast arm and placement of the temporary signal. The duration of the temporary signal is unknown at this time.

The City of Columbus and Nebraska Department of Transportation encourage all motorists and pedestrians to pay special attention while approaching and traveling through this intersection.
