[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day Closures and Changes
Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Monday, May 28, 2018 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Those closed include Animal Control, the Columbus Aquatic Center, Columbus Area Transit, Columbus Community Center, and all departments located in City Hall.
The Pawnee Plunge (weather permitting), Quail Run and Van Berg Golf Courses, Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries, and all parks will be open on Monday, May 28, 2018.
The Columbus Public Library will be closed both Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28, 2018.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be open Monday, May 28 to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. The Yard Waste Site will be open Saturday and Sunday during their normal hours, but will be closed on Monday, May 28.
The Street Department, Wastewater, Water Production and Water Utility Service Divisions will be on call for emergencies.
The Columbus Fire and Police departments will be available 24-7 for all public safety responses.
