The City of Columbus Water Production Division announced that the Annual Consumer Confidence Report on 2019 water quality is now available.
The URL regarding our annual water quality report will be included on the May and June 2020 utility bills for every residence and business that currently pays for water. Any resident or persons who rent and have their water service paid by their landlord may also receive a copy of the report. Paper copies are available at City Hall, 2424 14 Street, or for a paper copy to be mailed to you or e-mailed, call Public Works Office Associate at 402-562-4260. The City of Columbus is pleased to report that the quality of the water delivered to Columbus residents continues to comply with every Federal and State requirement established by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The City of Columbus water supply is monitored for contaminants as required by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. If contaminants ever exceed drinking water standards, the public will be notified.
