1. How do I know what jobs are currently open at the City of Columbus?

Openings are usually posted on the city Job Posting website and the Nebraska Workforce Development website. Advertisements are also placed in newspapers or publications as appropriate.

2. If I have applied for a job, how will I know if the job has been filled?

When the job has been filled, applicants usually will receive a notice that the hiring process has been completed. Notice of opening and closing dates are posted on the website.

3. Are there summer jobs available?

Yes, there are a number of summer jobs available each summer, especially at Pawnee Plunge. Watch for Job Postings in the early spring and submit your application accordingly.

4. Can I apply for a job at any time?
